While the rain poured down and the wind howled I stayed in and re-braided an edge of our large living room rug. All it took was a bit of yarn, a sturdy needle, and some time on a rainy day. I had to buy the yarn but I already had the needle. Considering the 9′ X 12′ size of the rug, repairing it instead of replacing it saved a lot of resources and we can hopefully get another 10 years out of it.
What have you repaired lately?

Wow-this looks great. I have a rag rug that one of the ends is coming loose on that I need to figure out how to fix.
